About Author

Bhanubhakta Nachhiring Rai was born in Solukhumbu, a region located in the Everest area. He grew up there, belonging to the local community, and worked as a trekking guide for several years, like many others from his area. Later, he moved to South Korea, where he worked for about six years in a high-income job. However, he chose to leave both his lucrative career and the opportunity to settle with his family in Korea in order to return to Nepal and pursue his passion for improving tourism services.

During his time in South Korea, Bhanubhakta noticed a significant issue: there was a lack of Korean-speaking guides in Nepal, which led to many Korean travelers facing communication difficulties. To address this gap, he decided to come back to Nepal and start his own trekking agency, focused on providing better services to Korean tourists and improving the overall travel experience.

Driven by his interest in learning new languages, Bhanubhakta is also skilled in Korean, English, Hindi, and several local languages from the Everest region, which helps him connect better with visitors. His time in South Korea taught him the importance of excellent hospitality, and he is now dedicated to offering the same level of service in Nepal.
