Difficult Level of Tarebhir Hike
Tarebhir Hike is classified as a moderate difficulty hike than hard difficulty due to factors including shorter duration, low technicality, and low altitude compared to other hiking opportunities within Nepal. However, while moderate difficulty, this hike does not involve constant flat walking – there are some aspects worth recognizing ahead of planning.
Is it beginner-friendly? For the most part, yes. People who hike this trail are often new to hiking or do not have any other trekking experience. But being beginner-friendly does not imply that it’s easy, you still have to walk uphill for quite some time.
Uphill/downhill sections: The route to Jagdol leads gradually up to the Tarebhir viewpoint, where elevation gain occurs both along the forest trail and through the ridgeline. There are some relatively easy sections through farmlands and villages as well as steeper parts nearer the ridge. The way back is similar to the way up but, of course, going down makes it easier on your lungs but harder on your knees.
Kathmandu Return: After completing the trek and having lunch at Tarebhir, you make your way down to Jagdol, where the very same vehicle will pick them up and take them back into Kathmandu.
As the whole experience is done as a one-day trek with the private transportation at both ends of the tour, it becomes a good choice for those travelers who would like to go on a hike near Kathmandu. We will be happy to help you coordinate the pick-up and return to match your schedule if you have any.

It is not advisable to go to the Tarebhir Hike during monsoon because visibility of the mountains is also very low due to the clouds.
Žiema (nuo gruodžio iki vasario)
The mornings will be cold, particularly at the top of the ridge, so warmer clothing should be considered, but winter will provide excellent visibility of valleys and mountains.
