Child Explorers:
- Epic Trek Nepal welcomes travellers of all ages, but some tours are more suitable for children than others. Please be aware of the rules required for children under each tour, and then determine if the trip suits your family. An adult must accompany children and young people under the age of 18. An adult is defined as anyone aged 18 or above. All enquiries concerning children are subject to review and approval by Epic Trek Nepal. Epic Trek Nepal reserves the right to restrict the number of travelers under the age of eighteen on tours, to secure optimal operation. Please note, that the above refers to child travelers only and not to child prices. Prices for children may be seen under each individual tour, if applicable.
Environmental Policy:

- Epic Trek Nepal follows ethical practices in all its operations, from hiring staff to the treatment of porters and the local communities. Optional Activities:
- On some of the tours, there may be free time and/or options for additional activities. These are not included in the tour and do not form a contract. Epic Trek Nepal is not responsible for anything that may arise from a traveler taking part in optional activities. Optional activities are undertaken at the cost of the traveler.
Cancellation Policy with Epic Trek Nepal:
At Epic Trek Nepal, we understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise, leading to a need for trip cancellations. We have developed a comprehensive cancellation policy to ensure fairness to both our clients and our business operations. Please familiarize yourself with the following terms and conditions of our cancellation policy:
1. Cancellation by the Client: – If you decide to cancel your trekking trip with Epic Trek Nepal, you must notify us in writing. – The date of receipt of your written cancellation will be considered the official date of cancellation for refund calculation purposes. – Refunds will be processed as per the below schedule: – Cancellation received 60 days or more before the trip start date: 90% refund of the total trip cost. – Cancellation received between 30 to 59 days before the trip start date: 70% refund of the total trip cost. – Cancellation received between 15 to 29 days before the trip start date: 50% refund of the total trip cost. – Cancellation received less than 15 days before the trip start date: No refund will be provided.
2. Cancellation by Epic Trek Nepal: – We reserve the right to cancel any trekking trip due to unforeseen circumstances such as natural disasters, political instability, epidemics, health hazards, or insufficient bookings. – In the unlikely event of a trip cancellation by Epic Trek Nepal, we will offer you the option to transfer your booking to an alternative departure date or provide a full refund of the paid amount.
3. Incomplete Trips: – No refund will be provided for any unused portion of your trip, voluntary or involuntary, including late arrival, early departure, or missed days of the trek. – We highly recommend that you secure travel insurance to cover any unforeseen events or circumstances that could lead to an incomplete trip.
4. Changes to Itinerary: – In case you wish to make changes to your trek itinerary after booking, please notify us in writing as soon as possible. – We will do our best to accommodate your requested changes, subject to availability and additional costs that may arise due to itinerary modifications.
5. Unused Services: – No refunds or credits will be provided for unused services, accommodations, or meals that were pre-booked but not used during the trekking trip. We, and group size. Therefore, we advise you to carefully review the cancellation policy provided in your booking confirmation and contract with Epic Trek Nepal. By proceeding with the booking, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the above cancellation policy and agree to abide by its terms and conditions.
