Best Season to Trek in Nepal

Peak Season: Autumn (September-November)

The months of October and November are peak trekking season in Nepal. At this time the skies are clear, days are full and weather is stable. In the mountains the numbered of peoples are increased as the facilities and teahouses are opened. Temperatures in this season ranging from 20 to 25 degrees Celsius at the day time(nights ca be colder above 4,000m). It is the recommended season for trekking in Nepal.

Spring (March-May)

This is also considered one of the best season for trekking in Nepal. Because days are warmer and longer, by then allows maximum time spent. This season is also the favorite because of blooming rhododendrons filled the trail with joyful colors.

Winter (December-February)

January and February is the season of cold. In Nepal there is chilly in winter, snow falls and avalanche’s will bring difficulty in the route so, we mostly not preferred to trek in this season. In case, if you are the adventure seeker and want to see the fullest form of mountains then we recommend you a proper winter preparation and a professional guide.

Monsoon (June-August)

The rainy season, we don’t recommend going mountains at this time. Rather, there are other favorable places in monsoon season. For your safety and well-being we never suggest you to go trek the mountains in Monsoon.

To those travelers from Korea, schedule vacation for Nepal during October and November. At first, this is the peak season for the trekking and helps you avoids harsh winter season of Korean. Also, it matches with the Korean autumn vacation periods.
