The trek is pretty high, with an altitude of about 5,143 meters once you get to Pangpema. This is where the northern base camp is located in respect of Mount Kanchenjunga.
You would find simple tea house with basic rooms and shared facilities. But you need to bring a descent sleeping bags because provided blankets might not be enough for those chilly night.
The main menu will be dal bhat, noodles, soups, and even some western dishes, but remember that your choice of foods becomes limited once in the remote high parts of this trail.
North base camp is located at an elevation of 5,143m and offers those amazing glacier views. On the contrary, the south base camp is located at 4,730m elevation level but the perspectives from here are completely different.
Definitely yes, but some treks such as Makalu base camp trek and Milke Danda ridge trek will require some detailed advanced planning and extra time on your part.
