Best Season for Volunteer Trek
Spring Trekking Nepal (March-May)
At this time there is spring in Nepal, with temperature around (15-25°C). It is the ideal season for outdoor volunteer work. The mountains are clear and the forests are filled with colorful rhododendron and wildflowers. This Chepang region is at a lower altitude, so, days are warm. If you are coming at this time then pack accordingly. Comfortable homestay accommodation as per the season’s requirements will be provided.
Autumn Trekking Nepal (September-November)
This is the perfect time for this activity. The weather is excellent and skies are clear. At this time, the main festival celebrations are ongoing, Dashain and Tihar. Overall, this is the best season to engage in cultural experience.
However, volunteering work is posible at any seasonfor the Chepang Hill Homestay Trek. This is the central terai region which lies at an lower altitude and features both hot and cold weather as per the season. But during the monsoon, it is a little risky due to slippery route, landslides that get road blocked, leeches, and natural disasters. That’s why we only recommend going during the monsoon with prior informed and bringing a necessary gears.
