Itinerary of Pokhara Sightseeing
Day 1: One-Day Pokhara Sightseeing
Early Morning (4:30-6:00 AM)
Your day starts with early morning 45 minutes of Lakeside drive to Sarangkot for sunrise viewing. There you witness the spectacular views of the Annapurna Massif, Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, and Machapuchare (Fishtail) as the snow-capped peaks turn golden with the rising sun.
Morning to Afternoon (10:00 AM – 3:00 PM)
From there, return to Lakeside for breakfast. And take a boat to Barahi Temple (Tal Barahi) on Phewa Lake.
After returning from boat ride and temple visit have lunch and head towards Davis Falls followed by Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave. Then explore the World Peace Pagoda and International Mountain Museum to appreciate local culture and mountain heritage.
Late Afternoon (3:00-5:00 PM)
Explore the old city area to see traditional Newari architecture and soak in the panoramic views from various viewpoints around the city with a drink in hand.
Evening (5:00-8:00 PM)
Return to Lakeside for evening exploration, it really amazes you with different vibes. The area offers adventure activities like paragliding over Phewa Lake, boating, and cycling, or simply enjoy the lakeside atmosphere with mountain views.
