Trip Overview

Annapurna has always been a favorite destination for trekkers. This region has everything to offer trekkers, which is why this trek is always epic. However, we see many people are not able to fulfill their desire to visit Annapurna and have to choose other destinations because of limited vacation time. That is why we have designed this Short Annapurna Base Camp Trek package for those who want to enjoy the beauty of Annapurna in less time while covering all the highlights.

Trek Difficulty

With an approximate distance of 110km/68 miles, the route to Annapurna Base Camp is a blend of challenges and rewards in terms of distance, duration, altitude, terrain, accommodation, and other factors. Our designed Short Annapurna Base Camp Trek covers the complete trek in 7 days, starting and ending in Pokhara, where every trekker must walk approximately 6 hours every day. Thus, good physical fitness is necessary for a better trek experience.

Best Time for Short ABC Trek

Our recommended seasons for this Short Annapurna Base Camp Trek are Spring and Autumn. During these times, the region is at its peak and can provide the fullest beauty it holds.

Spring (March to May) is one of the most popular times for ABC. The weather is stable, skies are mostly clear, and the forests are filled with rhododendron blooms, which turn the trails into colorful pathways.

Autumn (September to November) is considered the peak trekking season. The stable weather and clear skies with fresh air provide excellent visibility of the Annapurna range. This is also the festival season, with Dashain and Tihar vibes filling the atmosphere of the villages.

Winter and Summer are mostly avoided for safety and successful completion of the trek. Due to natural phenomena, these seasons bring challenges and difficulties such as avalanches, blocked trails, slippery paths, extreme cold, and heavy rainfall. Because of such reasons, the proper experience of the ABC trek gets ruined.

Even if you have to go during these seasons, then pack the proper gear and go with an experienced guide on this trail.
