Itinerary of Phulchowki Hiking Trail: A Perfect One-Day Escape from Kathmandu
Day 1: One Day Itinerary
Your journey begins very early with hotel pick up at 6:30 AM. Our driver arrives at exact time, which we conform your pickup point the night before in order not to waster anytime in the morning.
In about one hour at 7:30 AM, you will be on your way to Godawari, driving through the quieter side of Kathmandu. This give you enough time to fully awaken and prepared for the hike ahead.
Your hike starts from 8:00 AM. Your guide will tell you about the necessary safety measures and information related to your route details before you begin.
The initial stage of hiking takes you through Godawari Botanical Gardens, gradually leading you into the deep forest. By 9:00 AM, you are completely in the shadowed trail in the forest. The trail gets narrow, and you will hear birds chirping while climbing uphill along the way.
Around 10:00 AM, the trail gets tougher on your legs because of the stone staircases that are built in the hills. But shortly after, you will come across a spectacular rhododendron forest, which is definitely one of the best spots on the trail.
